MANDELLI ACQUIRES THE CONTROL OF TUCANO URBANO  

Mandelli S.r.l. acquired the control of Tucano Urbano S.r.l. by taking over the equity investments held by the majority shareholder Consilium SGR and by other minority shareholders.

Tucano Urbano S.r.l., established in 1999 and based in Peschiera Borromeo (Milan), is one of the leading operators in Italy in clothing/accessories sector for motorcycles and scooters, with an expected 2021 turnover exceeding € 15 million. The offer of Tucano Urbano products includes weather protection systems, clothing, gloves, rainproof, helmets and other accessories mainly dedicated to urban motorcyclists. Tucano Urbano serves over 1,000 customers, with a consolidated presence in Italy and on the main European markets including France, Spain and Great Britain.

Mr. Marco Biollo is the new Chairman of the Board of Directors, while Mr. Diego Sgorbati, at the helm of the company since 2016, has been confirmed in the position of Chief Executive Officer

MANDELLI GROUP

The Group, of which Mandelli S.r.l. is part, was founded in 1945 in Monza area and is active in the two-wheels market. It operates in the European market as a manufacturer of bicycles/accessories under “Brera” brand and clothing/accessories for motorcyclists, employing a total of about 250 employees. The Group expects to close the year 2021 with a consolidated turnover of more than € 60 million and with an expected Ebitda margin of around 12%.

CONSILIUM SGR

Consilium is an independent asset management company dedicated to private equity activities with focus on buy-out opportunities and investments in development capital in small and medium-sized Italian companies. Consilium managed a total of over € 300 million through three closed-end funds, plus a quarter currently in collection.
